We recently spent the weekend in Connecticut traveling to the Elephant’s Trunk flea market.
We got to the market around 7:30, shortly after it reduces its entry fee to $2 per person.
It was a really professional setup of serious vendors and serious shoppers. There was a cart corral for people who needed to haul large furniture or lots of items to their cars.
The amount and variety of stuff for sale was really impressive. Unlike some New York City markets, there was a lot of big stuff, including this anchor.
Our first purchase was these baskets, which we’re using to organize supplies under our kitchen and bathroom sinks.
Donnie was very fond of this Mardi Gras poster, while I preferred an illustration of a dog. But we left without any mediocre art this time.
We’re most pleased with our purchase of the kitchen stool, which we’ve been after for a long time. It was at the same stall as the baskets, so we were able to bundle everything together for a pretty sweet deal.
