Painting the bedroom turned the whole apartment into a disaster zone, which meant trying to finish in one weekend.
DIY projects, like repainting frames for the bedroom gallery wall, also take up a lot of space in the living room. I don’t put everything away between coats, but I do try to finish projects within a day or so of starting them.

All Donnie’s hiking stuff fits in this corner of the living room, which keeps it contained to one space. Once this space is full, he goes through everything to see what needs to be donated.
This is Donnie’s kombucha scoby, which gets covered with a towel and put in a cabinet to protect it from sunlight. His various fermenting projects can take up a lot of room in the kitchen, especially when it’s time to feed and strain everything.
