I bought these towels even though they were maybe a little bit frivolous. But they make me feel good when I look at them.
Painting our apartment was one of the first things we did that really made it feel like home, even though we waited two years to do it. You can hear all about that on episode 2.
We use one corner of the living room as Donnie’s office because that’s what makes the space work for us, as Bobby is always telling people to do. We talk all about that on episode 15.
Part of our living room is also left open to allow space for working out in the mornings. We cover that in episode 11.
Bobby is always talking about setting up your home to make you happy, which is why the Thanksgiving episode, episode 4, is one of Donnie’s favorites.
I knew that painting the bedroom black would make me happy but resisted it for too long. We talk about that in episode 41.
We have this boob pot because I love this boob pot and don’t care about anyone else’s opinion.
Painting this trunk is a reminder of sourcing a piece, finding inspiration to redo it, and making something that we really love in our space.
We literally pulled this chair out of the garbage and make it something awesome.
Having cool bedding and cool pillows and a cool headboard motivates me to make my bed every day. We talk about sourcing the bedding in episode 14 and the headboard in episode 10.
Donnie is motivated by his personalized desk in a different way than he would be at the coffee table or a coworking space.
