Donnie loves a decorative gourd for Thanksgiving. We buy ours at the farmer’s market.
I got Donnie this vintage pie plate from Etsy because the ones we had needed to go. Now he can actually put all the filling in the pie.
He got me this Berlin guidebook so we can start planning our trip.
We usually put our two Christmas ornaments on our big cactus, but it died this year, so here’s a throwback.
I also got Donnie this vintage bread knife. I was going to get it sharpened and reconditioned at Henry Westpfal, but they said it was in great condition and didn’t need anything done to it.
Donnie got me removable wallpaper sample after pretending for a long time to really not be into the idea. You can see how the space makes contrast a necessity. We’ll be ordering a few more samples before making a final decision. You can find the marbled blue wallpaper here, the peacocks here, and the flowers here.
If you also have nothing to do on New Year’s Eve, we highly recommend you check out Tree Man, a documentary about the people who sells Christmas trees on New York City sidewalks.
