Given our massive glue fail last weekend, we decided to try to wet sand the glue with stain in order to make it match the wood around it.
If you haven’t already created this problem for yourself, consider using this painter’s tape trick.
Wet sanding didn’t work for us basically at all.

We’re guessing that our wallpaper is art nouveau–inspired, so I used Pinterest again to check out some color palettes.
