We got our Farrow and Ball paint samples in the mail and put them all up.

Teresa’s Green looked like a light green online, but in person, it read way too blue for what we were trying to do.

Sap Green is a great color, but it looks way too much like my mom’s house in the early 2000s, so we had to pass.

India Yellow was in the running as the more muted Victorian option.

Dutch Orange was more of an Art Nouveau vibe and was Donnie’s second favorite pick.
We also swatched Gravitas, our custom color from the bedroom. And we tried the trim color, as was the original plan.

But in the end, in an effort to avoid an expensive and potentially hazardous Home Depot run, we decided to go with Rustic Taupe, the color the hallway already was.
